We take CSR seriously, and we aim to help bring joy into our communities at the same time

NetDimensions kicked off its 2016 CSR program with volunteers from its Hong Kong office participating in the Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk for Millions organized by The Community Chest of Hong Kong on January 10th. This is the third year that NetDimensions and its volunteers have participated in the walk to raise money from various sponsors to support social welfare agencies in providing Family and Child Welfare Services.

In February, NetDimensions co-sponsored a community event for children in Manila, Philippines in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as part of the Philippine government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (“Bridging Program for the Filipino Family”).

NetDimensions staff in the Philippines together with DSWD social workers hosted a group of 30 children from less fortunate households in Quezon City for a free museum tour provided by Museo Pambata, an interactive museum for children.

Then in March, NetDimensions sponsored Heep Hong Society’s Garden of Life – Pet Adventure Tour for children in Hong Kong with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other special needs. Together with their families, the children participated in a pet show and interactive games, as well as observed pet feeding activities to teach them how to care for animals.

More CSR activities are being lined up by NetDimensions later this year across its offices in Hong Kong, the Philippines, the US, and the UK.

NetDimensions 2015 CSR Program Highlights

Nepal was hit by disastrous earthquakes in April and May 2015, killing over 9,000 people and injuring tens of thousands more. NetDimensions launched a company-wide fundraising campaign in conjunction with Save the Children Hong Kong in May 2015 and raised enough funds to provide 120 shelter kits, baby kits, tarpaulins, blankets, kitchen kits and solar lamps to children and their families hit by these earthquakes.

Throughout 2015, we continued to work with LINGOs, an organization that helps NGOs overcome barriers and improve the lives of vulnerable communities around the world using the latest technologies with the help of local and international partners.

LINGOs focuses on delivering learning solutions that are appropriate, affordable, accessible, and actionable – using technology to serve people at scale, no matter where they are in the world.

In recognition for the work done by NetDimensions, LINGOs awarded the company with its 2015 Partner of the Year Award.

Toward the end of 2015, NetDimensions organized a company-wide blood drive in its Hong Kong and USA offices.

We also donated over 150 feminine hygiene kits to NGO Days for Girls (Philippines) for girls in Baguio, Philippines to help them stay in school.

NetDimensions also sponsored Heep Hong Society’s Halloween Dress-up Party for the children under their care. Both the children (and their families) and NetDimensions staff members who volunteered (all dressed up in fun costumes) had an enjoyable and educational afternoon with lots of laughter and interaction.

And as part of our annual year-end internal fundraising program, we raised money to benefit charities in the US, the Philippines, the UK and Germany that were selected by our employees. In addition, we also donated to a foundation in Africa for the establishment of an orphanage in Uganda.

Moving Forward

NetDimensions will continue its commitment to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and further improve our CSR practices to build toward a more sustainable business environment for our employees, clients, partners, shareholders, and most importantly, the communities we are part of around the world.
