Last week we were delighted to spend two days with our clients at Next Steps 2014 in Chicago. Next Steps is our annual user conference and our theme this year was innovation and business results. Innovation in terms of new technologies, tools, apps, practices, ways of thinking that shape how we work and live. New ways to take advantage of the NetDimensions Talent Suite across different functions in the organization. Business results in terms of how learning & talent management technologies and processes link to actual business metrics that are relevant to CxOs. Metrics relating to revenue contribution, cost control, change enablement, and risk management.
My panel on talent analytics with Betty Mills of Centra Health, Jerry Bishop of Brigham Young University, Richard Beaumont of Omega Performance, Dan Sherman of The Nature Conservancy, and George Walker of NetDimensions.
With such a vibrant and open user community here at NetDimensions, Next Steps is always a learning experience both ways. Last week, our users had the opportunity to participate in a number of interactive sessions, find out about upcoming product innovations from us or our partners, and meet our colleagues, partners & other members of the user community. I was happy to moderate a panel discussion on talent analytics and explore with the panelists how different organizations embark on their analytics journeys. Learning first hand from our clients what data and metrics enables them to harness actionable insights for their business helps us better understand how to continue bringing value to them.
A big thank you to our Platinum sponsor, Cegos, and our Gold sponsors, Curo Compensation and Biovia/Qumas for being part of Next Steps 2014. Another thank you to our partners Jive Software and ApprenNet for showcasing their solutions. And a special thank you from everyone at NetDimensions to all our clients and partners for joining us again this year for another event packed with learning, networking, and fun.
What’s next now? Looking forward to Next Steps 2014 in London. See you all there!
