Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and knowledgeable technical professional to help our clients solve problems while delighting them along the way with a world-class service experience. This role is part of a global team, so you will interact with teammates in various parts of North America, Asia, and Europe, along with a group of engineers in Hong Kong.

This job is not about meeting SLAs; it’s about earning the deep respect of our customers, in easy times and hard ones.

This position reports to the Director of Client Experience, based in Nashville, TN, USA. You will typically work normal business hours, but there may be a need for slight scheduling changes from time to time to meet changing needs. We value work-life balance, so aim for reasonable hours, but you may need to put in some extra time on occasion to meet the needs of our clients if we receive an unexpected volume of support requests.

If you can learn quickly in novel circumstances, solve unique technical issues through a systematic analysis of presented challenges, find and sustain motivation from within yourself to pursue excellence relentlessly every day, and keep a cool head when things get tough, this could be the role for you.

We don’t expect you to know everything, so we’ll capitalize on your strengths and train you over time where there’s opportunity for growth. You will need a history of providing great customer service, along with a background in technical support, with preference given to the following skills, in the following order:

  • NetDimensions Talent Suite administration experience (or a similar LMS/talent management system)
  • SQL
  • XML
  • Javascript
  • Java

  • Experience with e-learning products, and learning management systems, in particular
  • First-class communication abilities – written and verbal

Main function of Job

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying leads for the Account Executives.

Main Duties

  • Research and qualify potential companies and prospects from multiple sources, including social media, dormant accounts, competitor client information, news and top company lists
  • Review tender portals with the bid manager, ensuring access to as many relevant potential opportunities as possible
  • Work with the marketing team to generate C-level and other leads through mini-campaigns that deliver efficiency gains and drive achievement of the sales targets
  • Answer and respond to all incoming telephone leads
  • Execute cold calling and email campaigns to qualify prospects into leads
  • Book appointments/meetings for the Account Executives. Work directly with sales team during the lead nurture process.
  • Brief the Solutions Consultant prior to meeting, effectively communicating prospects' needs and requirements
  • Capture client data in Salesforce CRM, maintain accurate records and activity reports at all times.
  • Attend required sales meetings, providing management information as required

Job Description

NetDimensions is looking for a Data Engineer/Technical Support who will be responsible for the analysis, design and maintenance of all data and database related services involving data migration and manipulations for NetDimensions Talent Suite. Successful candidate will report to the Infrastructure Team Manager and work closely with our Hosting Support, Customer Services, Quality Assurance, Professional Services and Engineering Team.

The selected individual must have a track record of hands-on design and maintenance of complicated SQL scripts and capable of working independently on trouble-shooting. It would be beneficial to have management experience of MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL databases as well.

Job Duties

  • Provide data related support for OLTP and OLAP applications
  • Troubleshooting data related issues and providing data manipulation/migration related services
  • Design, testing and maintenance of ETL scripts using DDL, DML, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL
  • Performance tuning of SQL scripts and Database performance monitoring and tuning
  • Manage database change in testing and production environments
  • Provide hands-on support for the installation, configuration, trouble-shooting of non-hosted customers

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines
  • Ability to comprehend complicated database designs of OLTP and OLAP applications
  • Excellent with DDL, DML, SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL programming skills
  • Minimum of 2 years solid hands-on experience in MSSQL/Oracle Database Administration is a plus
  • A team player with analytical and problem solving mind, self-motivation, good interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Data Engineer
