Any computer running Internet Explorer 4.0 or above (IE 5.0 or above recommended), Netscape 6.2 or above and all versions of Firefox and Safari.
Client requirements are identical for both the end-user interface and administration tools. All administration tools are presented through a Web interface. No downloads or players are necessary to run or administer EKP

EKP is 100% Java-based and runs on any system with Java Virtual Machine 1.4 (or above): Windows 2003, 2000 or NT 4.0 (Service Pack 4 or above), Solaris 7 or above, HPUX 11 or above, Red Hat Linux - Version 6.1 or above and Mac OS X (all versions).

EKP requires a minimum of 350 MB of disk space. Database and course files may require additional disk space.

EKP ships with MSDE 2000 (embedded). All versions may be configured to use Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.x, Oracle 8i/9i/10g or Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005.

| Web and Application Server |
EKP is bundled with, and will install configured for Apache/Tomcat. EKP will also run on IIS with JRun, BEA, WebSphere, EAServer or any other servlet engine that supports servlet specification 2.3 or above. |
EKP runs on servers with multiple CPUs, including SMP Unix systems.
EKP also supports multiple physical systems in clustered, load balanced configurations.
