The Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) online learning management and training platform - CU Learn, recently received an Outstanding Achievement Award at the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD) National Training Awards.
The IITD awards celebrate excellence in learning and development with CU Learn receiving the Outstanding Achievement award for Networks and Groups. This award recognises the unique co-operation that is taking place between organisations who are working together in networks and groups around the country to develop training solutions to meet the demands of their industry.
ILCU configured and developed CU Learn in partnership with leading online learning and development company, Aurion Learning using award winning technology from NetDimensions.
The online learning platform enables ILCU to manage and deliver online training and accredited programmes; record attendance for classroom training and CPD; and provide learning and development information in one central area.
Suzanne Ryan, Head of CU Learning & Development at ILCU said:
"This recognition is a real testament to the unique co-operation between credit unions who are working together in networks and groups around the country. CULearn.ie has been central in supporting our focus to facilitate the efficient administration of training and education amongst our affiliated credit unions, particularly at a time when there is a renewed emphasis on developmental support, tailored training and Continuous Professional Development, in the credit union movement."
CU Learn also supports credit unions to fulfil their obligations with regard to new regulatory requirements and has aided the efficient administration of training and education amongst their network of 484 affiliated credit unions throughout Ireland.
Gavin Woods, Business Development Manager at Aurion Learning who was also in attendance to accept the award said:
"This is a magnificent achievement for CU Learn to be recognised with a significant national training award. This highlights our on-going commitment to provide outstanding learning and development and we look forward to working with ILCU as they continue to transform their learning and development services to their affiliated credit unions throughout Ireland."
John Downie, NetDimensions’ Channel & Alliance Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, said: "We are delighted that NetDimensions Learning’s proven strengths as a LMS for regulatory compliance training has contributed to the CU Learn platform’s CU Learn platform's Outstanding Achievement award from IITD.
